Ticketing
Tickets are issued digitally to the email address entered at checkout. We are unable to ship physical tickets. A list of attendees will be provided to the venue on the day, but please ensure you bring along your digital ticket (just in case).

Refunds & Rescheduling
Tickets are not refundable, however if you cannot attend your booked class, we can reschedule to another date with notice. In this circumstance, we ask that 24 hours notice is given via email to info@unexpectedguestgin.com.

Changes made to bookings within 24 hours may incur additional charges. Due to the preparation and staffing required in running these events, no-shows will be charged the full amount paid.

Attendees
All attendees must be over the age of 18 years. You may be asked to present photo ID. Only those with tickets can attend (but friends and family are more than welcome to meet you for a drink after the class).

Getting there and back
We recommend taking advantage of public transport or ride sharing when travelling to and from the class. We are only 600m from Sydenham station. The class includes 3 drinks, plus the opportunity to sample gin and other cocktail ingredients, so we strongly recommend leaving the car at home.

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Unexpected Guest Distillery (ABN: 20635321309), located at 12 Cadogan Street, Marrickville.

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years or older. Employees of Unexpected Guest Distillery and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

By entering this competition, participants agree to provide proof of age upon request.

3. Competition Period

The competition commences at 9:00 AM AEST on Monday, 2nd September 2024, and concludes at 3:59 PM AEST on Thursday, 5th September 2024.

All entries must be received within this period to be eligible.

4. How to Enter

To QR code available at the Unexpected Guest Distillery booth during the Fine Foods 2024 convention and complete the online entry form, including all mandatory fields.

Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.

5. Prize

The prize consists of six (6) bottles of Unexpected Guest Distillery gin, valued at $359.70.

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other products.

6. Winner Selection

The winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries on Monday, 5th September 2024 at 12pm.

The winner will be notified via email within 48 hours of the draw. The winner must respond within 7 days of notification to claim the prize.

If the winner does not respond within this period, a new winner will be drawn, and the original winner forfeits any claim to the prize.

7. Prize Delivery

The prize will be delivered to the winner's nominated address within Australia. The winner must provide a valid delivery address upon request.

Delivery will be arranged by Unexpected Guest Distillery, and the winner may be required to sign for the delivery to confirm they are over 18 years of age.

8. Use of Personal Information

Personal information collected from participants will be used for the purpose of conducting this competition, contacting the winner, and for marketing purposes by Unexpected Guest Distillery. By entering the competition, participants consent to the use of their information in this manner.

9. Disqualification

Unexpected Guest Distillery reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or that is deemed inappropriate, misleading, or fraudulent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Unexpected Guest Distillery and its affiliates are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in this competition or the acceptance and use of the prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing Law

This competition is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and is subject to the rules and regulations of Victorian Liquor and Gaming Control.

By entering, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

12. Promoter's Rights

Unexpected Guest Distillery reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, subject to regulatory approval where necessary.

Any changes will be posted on the Unexpected Guest Distillery website.
