Tokyo Gimlet
Everyone's favourite lime cocktail with a twist.
If you've never had a gimlet before, let's not lie to ourselves its pretty much a mojito. But this cocktail mix's it up with the use of sake.
Here’s what you’ll need; Sake: This is what makes the drink unusual, you can opt in to use a pricey bottle of sake but we've just used a middle range one, no need to break the bank on sake. Sugar Syrup: If you want to bring the lime flavour out in the drink Sugar Syrup is the way to go. It contrasts the sake and citrus notes in a unique way. Fresh Lime Juice: Fresh limes are the way to go, they're more flavourful. and you need to buy a fresh lime anyway for garnish. Gin: we always leave the best till last, and the rule of thumb is, if you're making a citrus based drink. Use Young Tom's Bathtub Gin.
